Diaa Aziz

Born in Cairo on November 28, 1947, his father is the great Saudi writer Aziz Zia. His mother is the former radioman Asma Zaazou. His origin in a family connected to culture and literature has played a role in his connection with various types of art from an early age. Since childhood he has been influenced by his mother, Decorative paintings to decorate the homes of headstones and mattresses spread in different locations of the house, influenced by his father, the writer who encouraged him morally and pushed him in the way of taste in various artistic fields, learning to play violin and oud at the age of eight, and children sang a number of songs written by his father and Tha radio programs for children across Saudi Arabia.
Then in the year 1380 H corresponding to 1960 began the art of painting and took the leading artists such as Titian and Jean August Dominique Anger and others and then abandon the tradition and began drawing influenced by the surrounding environment and important events that flood the life of man in general and the painting (Liberation slaves) in 1383 e 1963 following the decree Royal Decree issued by His Majesty King Faisal to abolish slavery, and gave it to him, was to encourage his moral and material profound impact in the course of his artistic life. He received his primary education at the Al-Thaghr Model Schools in Jeddah and completed his preparatory and secondary education. He moved between several schools in Jeddah, Cairo and Boston. In 1967, he received a scholarship from the Saudi Ministry of Education, where he joined the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
After his return from Italy, he worked as a teacher of art education at Al-Thaghr Model Schools in Jeddah from 1972 to 1973. He established Mas Foundation for the production of fine arts from 1974 to 1979. He joined the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation in 1980 and He retired in 2004.
Personal exhibitions

- The American Cultural Center held its second personal exhibition at the Centers headquarters in Jeddah in 1972
