Mohammed Al Saleem
Saudi Arabia
(1938 - 1997)
Born in Saudi Arabia in 1938, he is a plastic artist and one of the first to teach art education in public schools in Saudi Arabia. He began filming his surroundings. His painting (entrance times) was a transfer to the environment in which he lived. His production was a simple recording of the treatment. In 1388/1968 he was sent to study in Italy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. When he arrived in Italy to study, he was influenced by the civilization of the early years of the nineteenth century. His works first appeared in this civilization. His first work was similar to Surrealism. He then experimented with the Cézanne and Sorah studies. He divided colors into light spots. Painting to geometric shapes, w This stage exceeded the stage of innovation in the image installed topics in a way less geometric and some sort of clear progress, has the right succeeded in linking its culture and traditions of what has been achieved in the field of plastic art. He encountered obstacles in his study in Italy in reconciling art in the West and preserving its identity and originality, taking from its environment and its surroundings a source that paints and photographs from it and then creates a special artistic style. When I am asked to talk about the late Saudi plastic artist Mohammed Al-Saleem in a cultural or artistic meeting or even a fan of it or when some versions want to write about his history and his creative record, I feel that I am recalling all the details that I know and know about all of the plastic scene artists who have experienced His activity, which consists of that wonderful man, may God have mercy on him
